Certificate Overview

The Mohave Community College Retail Management Certificate is designed to prepare students for career opportunities and upward mobility in the retail industry. It is endorsed by the WAFC (Western Association of Food Chains) and the Food Marketing Institute, and is relevant in any retail sector as its course content and learning outcomes mirror those advocated by the National Retail Federation.  It provides the greatly desired skills that retail store and grocery store employers are looking for in management and higher level positions. The coursework follows and matches the requirements of the industry recognized “Retail Management Certificate” issued from the WAFC, which is a nationally recognized organization promoting continuing education for food chain industry employees.

Upon completion of the MCC certificate the student is prepared to apply for and earn the Retail Management Certificate issued by WAFC and a position or advancement in retail management.
