Certificate Overview

The Retail Management Certificate is designed to prepare students and current retail industry employees for career and upward mobility opportunities in the retail industry.

Nashville State Community College offers the 8-course, 24-credit-hour industry-recognized Retail Management Certificate program which can be completed within two years while working full or part-time.  The program is endorsed by the Western Association of Food Chains and the Food Marketing Institute, and is relevant in any retail sector as its course content and learning outcomes mirror those advocated by the National Retail Federation.  All certificate courses can be applied towards Nashville State’s Associate of Applied Science degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing and Retailing and are available in multiple formats: face-to-face at employer sites, on campus, and on-line statewide and nationally.
