Education is an investment in your future!

A college education can be expensive.   This is a key reason why the Retail Management Certificate is offered through the Community College system–an affordable option for higher education.  Additionally, Retail Management Certificate Program students may qualify for unique financial assistance.

Contact Your Employer

Many WAFC-Partner employers offer scholarships that cover tuition cost and most course and book fees for this program.  If you are currently employed, ask your human resources manager if your company offers tuition support for the Retail Management Certificate.

Seek out Scholarships and Other Support

Several retail associations offer scholarships or reimbursement for tuition and textbook costs. Learn more about these tuition support options.

Qualify as a Veteran or a Veteran Family Member

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs supports the GI Bill. Most, if not all of our participating colleges are qualified to accept VA education and training benefits. To learn more contact your local Department of Veteran Affairs or learn more online. Your college financial aid office will also be able to assist you regarding acceptance of GI Bill Benefits.

Apply for Federal Financial Aid

Each college has a dedicated department for assisting students in determining federal financial aid eligibility.  In addition to Federal Financial Aid, there are several other federal financial programs that are available through your college’s financial aid office. These include Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grants, and Federal Work Study.  Be sure to ask about these programs.  If you are a new student, you will want to give yourself 6-8 weeks before classes start to get your finances in place.

If You are Unemployed

If you are currently unemployed or not working for one of our participating employers, we encourage you to apply today. Employers are eager to hire both graduates and students currently enrolled in the Retail Management Certificate Program. Additionally, most employers offer some type of tuition support.
