Certificate Overview

The Retail Management certificate is designed to prepare individuals for the fast-paced retail industry. The program is intended to help students develop an understanding of the retail manager’s job and the requirements for career success and advancement in the retail industry. The program serves both entry-level job candidates and incumbent employees, and prepares the student for the following academic and technical skills employers are looking for in:

  • Business and Management
  • Retailing and Human Relations
  • Writing, Speech, and Computer Literacy

Upon completing the Retail Management Certificate, students may continue their studies by applying certificate coursework toward the AAS degree in Accounting and/or Business Management.

Note: Students will be required to take English and Math placement tests. Placement scores will determine if pre-requisites are required.
