Special Pricing at WGU for Retail Management Certificate Graduates Makes Continuing your Education Easier
Western Governor’s University offers Retail Management Certificate Graduates a 5% Tuition Discount.
Many of our Retail Management Certificate graduates are eager to continue their education but are not sure how or they lack the extra funds to do so. To help make the next step a little easier, we have combined our efforts with Western Governor’s University (WGU) to provide Retail Management Certificate graduates a direct pathway to a Bachelor’s Degree and for some a Master’s Degree.
We selected WGU because they understand the needs of our industry, and provide our graduates with one of the most flexible and affordable options for continuing their education.
WGU uses a competency-based approach where students take courses 100% online in a modular format rather than in semester long courses, which allows students to complete courses at their own pace instead of in a traditional semester or quarter system. In addition, WGU accepts all required Retail Management Certificate courses from WAFC approved colleges for transfer and offers a 5% tuition discount to our graduates earning the Retail Management Certificate.
To learn more about WGU visit the Retail Management Certificate Welcome Web page.

I can’t go back to school
Finding excuses of why you shouldn’t go back to school are easy. The typical ones include:
- I am too busy.
- I can’t afford it.
- School is not my thing.
- I am too old to go back to school.
If you found yourself saying any these things — take a few minutes to watch our latest video featuring Retail Management Certificate students and graduates. You might be surprised by what they have to say.
Who knows, maybe school is for you.
Think you know retail?
When asked what we do for a living, we tell people we work in retail, and immediately people see someone stocking shelves or working a cash register. While these are jobs in retail and many people work in these very important positions, the number of careers and opportunities in retail are endless.
Which is why we were excited to see the latest initiative to change the perception of what people think about retail from our friends at the National Retail Federation. The program entitled “Think You Know Retail” is part of their “This is Retail” campaign, and is sweeping across Instagram as they ask the retail industry and its employees to post pictures of what retail means to them.
